About Me
Country Boy at Heart!

I come from the country, or rather, acreage life style in Alberta, Canada, and had never lived in a city, until after high school.  I got my high school diploma, and never looked back at school.

I went from country to city, in a big way, a small town boy in the big city of Toronto, Ontario.   Damn, I was young!  While I bounced around, from job to job, place to place, always looking for that better job, city, etc., I ended up as a truck driver, and, because of it, have seen most of North America.

I have seen some breathtaking scenery, while trucking, and have met some wonderful people along the way.  However, I drove through some of the worst storms, you could possibly imagine, driven on sheer ice, climbed over mountain passes in thick fog, where you couldn’t see where you were driving, at night.  Made tracks in fresh snow, where you couldn’t see the road, but I had driven it so many times, I laid the tracks for others to follow.

You see as a truck driver, you don’t have the luxury of stopping, the load of groceries, etc. that you are hauling must get to its destination, and on time.  But, the worst, was being away from home for great lengths of time, the comfort of your own bed, the love of your family and friends, was what I missed most.  I made an excellent living driving truck, but, there had to be a better way of living my life.  I had driven the ‘big rigs’ for twenty years, on and off.

Why Change My Life?

I had figured out early on, that the only way to make it big, was to be your own boss.  Yeah, an entrepreneur, not an opportunity seeker.  And so, I started a few businesses over the years, when I wasn’t trucking, that had me working 18+ hours a day.  Yeah, I was an entrepreneur, yet, I was always broke and exhausted.  NO one said, that you needed to be a successful one or showed you how.  So, I went back to a J O B, working for yet another company.

My Life Changed

I don’t know how I managed it, but, I did take time for myself, to write poetry, another passion of mine, I’ve written hundreds of poems, over the years.  It was while I was writing poetry, in a little ’50s style diner, that I met my wife, Lil.  She and a girlfriend of hers walked in, and I, about fell off my stool.  After a bit, Lil, came up to me, and asked “Whatcha, doing?”.  I told her I’m writing poetry, and she was interested in reading some.

I learned later, that she too wrote poetry.  We had something in common, a shared passion.  We were friends for five years before we actually became a couple, it is the best foundation to a relationship.  The rest, as they say, is history!  We’ve been together ever since.

Career Path

Both my wife, Lil and I, raise Purebred Havanese, whom live with us in our house as pets.  They are our babies, as we’ve never been blessed with children of our own.

We figured that this would be supplemental income in our retirement.  I would continue working for a few more years as a Professional Truck Driver, bringing in a substantial income and my wife would run the dog business.  We were doing very well, between the two incomes, until I, two years ago, nearly lost my life.  The doctor told me I was 15 minutes away from death.

A Different Path

My life changed that day, not only because I came close to death, but because I was no longer able to work at a traditional JOB.  So, we went from two incomes, mine being the substantial one, to just one income.  Life would never be the same.  I knew that I may never be able to return to the typical JOB, so, I had to prepare myself for the worse case scenario.

Search For A Better Life

I decided to search online for any way of making money online.  I was overwhelmed with the ‘Get Rich Quick Schemes” that I very quickly got through, ignoring their promises of quick wealth.  I wanted something more substantial, so I dug deeper, it took me awhile, but, it’s how I came across SFM.  I am thankful that I did, as I see, not only a different future for myself, but a brighter one as well.  Interesting how life brings about opportunities, that we would not normally seek out.

A Brighter Future

I joined SFM in July of 2011, so, as of the writing of this story, only a little over seven months ago.  I am astounded by the wealth of knowledge that I was able to absorb and put into practice, the quality of the system that SFM has in place is top of the line.  They gave me a step-by-step guide to the foundations, I needed to put into place, to create an online business.

I am an elite level member, which gives me so much more information, training and support, than when I first began.  I am eagerly learning, as much as they are providing in their system.  They are continually adding new information, as they grow.  I too, am growing in knowledge about online marketing.  I had done marketing years ago, had my own production company, and currently have, along with my wife, several businesses online.  So, I can speak from experience, nothing compares to the system that the Six Figure Mentors have created to teach entrepreneurs how to become successful online.

The Six Figure Mentors have created a live Chat Room, where their members, can chat live with like minded entrepreneurs and learn from each other, as well as make new friends around the world!  I earned the “Member of the Month” for February 2012.  Something, that I earned for helping others on the live chat with their questions.  I am thankful for the recognition, however, I quite enjoy helping others, in doing so, I continue to learn, as well.

Entrepreneurs Helping Entrepreneurs.  Is there any more rewarding way to live your life?

I can’t think of any better way to live my life, knowing that not only am I changing my life, but, I am helping others to change theirs.  Life is good!
